Day Time Book Group
“For the Lord gives wisdom, from His mouth come knowledge and understanding.” Proverbs 2:6
If interested in digging deep into books with spiritual topics, join us Thursday mornings from 11:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Contact Loran White if interested.
“The Earth is the Lord’s and all that is in it.” Psalm 24:1
Respect for our planet is to show respect for the gift given us by our Creator. Emmanuel is committed to reduce, reuse and recycle throughout its campus. To join this effort or for more information, contact Donna Burnap.
Health and Wellness
“For I will restore you to health.” Jeremiah 30:17
Our physical health is closely interwoven with our emotional and spiritual health. Sponsoring health-related activities highlights this interconnection so that all members may be restored to the fullness of health across all spectrums. For more information, contact Nicole Craig.
“Look in the Book of the Lord and read…” Isaiah 34:16
A modest collection of books are available for check out. A group of dedicated volunteers catalogues the books and replenishes the selections available.
“Let the children come to me, and do not prevent them.” Matthew 19:13
Planting the seeds of wisdom and love into the hearts of our children is beyond important. Our Sunday School program is filled with fun and activities as well as meaningful instruction. To register your child in Sunday School or volunteer your services, simply show up at 9:00 a.m. each Sunday! Or call the Church Office.
“Let your heart be glad in the days of your youth.” Ecclesiastes 11:9
Our young people’s group continues to grow in number and spirit. Games, activities, faith sharing, and developing a heart for mission are the priorities. Youth from 6th – 12th grades are welcome to attend each Wednesday evening at 5:30 p.m. for dinner and activities afterward. Show up or contact Mark Rudebusch for information.
Vacation Bible School (VBS)
“Learn to do good.” Isaiah 1:17
The annual Summer VBS program is partnered with St. Matthew’s and St. Andrew’s Episcopal Churches in Rapid City. A different theme each year instills a sense of wonder and awe in the children as they learn about God and his son, Jesus. Information prior to the summer break will offer instruction on how to volunteer or register children.
